Do any of you guy's actually work! lol Unfortunately my work has really dropped off in the last 45 days so I spend a little to much time on the forums.

What does everyone do for a living? maybe we can do some networking...

I am in wholesale. I sell aftermarket wheels, tires and accessories to retail stores. Maybe I could get something worked out for forum members if you need tires or wheels let me know.

Andy that statement would have made my Dad proud to hear from any programmer. He was RCA's senior systems analyst at Kennedy Space Center and the Air Force Eastern Test Range. He wrote NASA's operating system in the very early 60's and then was in charge of the group of programmers that wrote and maintained the tracking of all flights civilian and military.

But he would always say "I'm just a programmer at heart". Thank you for reminding me of that statement.

I certainly understand why he would say it. I really miss the days of coding around the clock. Thanks for sharing the story Ray.

If I remember correctly, early on Dad used a variation of FORTRAN at the Cape. Due to security reasons he could never fully discuss things with me about his job. But I do know that they had developed their own special langauge.

Now Bob, it’s FORTRAN, not Fortran. Please proper nomenclature....

BTW, COBOL reeks.
