I'm in Dallas, TX and it was 109 yesterday. Can't wait to get back to the 90s in GA.

got "cooled" off today from thunderstorms. but yesterday it got up to 99, heat index was 105-110. yes, i work out in this heat too.
i work to live, not live to work.

I'm am elated to be back in the great state of Georgia! I thought I was going to burst in flames today getting to DFW. They'll be lucky if the whole state isn't dry before the end of August as hot as it is.

They'll be lucky if the whole state isn't dry before the end of August as hot as it is. Here in Tyler, Texas it’s been hitting the 110 degree F mark for the past couple of days. I think that Paris, Texas north of here has been even hotter. TFP

MY folks live over in Oakwood and all have reported unbelievable temps this summer I can only remember one day that was hotter in my 54 years. That was back in the Summer of ‘69 in Waco. It hit the all time high that August at 111 degrees F. My folks, and I had just move there that June as my Dad had gotten a new job the previous January. Man that was a hot summer. Dad was an aircraft mechanic, and the flight line during that summer was hitting 150! Shish! TFP
