I think it will hold about 2,000 yards of 6lb line, just in case a big one grabs it roflmao

That puppy is better suited for a boat winch.

Caught many a fish on these.
You will love it.

I hope so! If I can get my other boat up and running well, we are even thinking of a trip to the Bahama's via launching out of Miami and making the run. But, before we did that, I'd want to put a few salty hours on it first. That would be quite a first trip.

Most everyone I've talked to really likes them. If we start to spend a lot of time in the salt, I'd love to step up to some Avet's, but for now the TLD's seem like a great real at a good price. I've always loved my other Shimano's and I don't think this one will be any different! I put it on one of my rods last night and it felt great.

...I'd love to step up to some Avet's...

Now you're talking. The small compact size of some of the Avets make it possible to fill it with a lot of braid and still catch some big fish with gear not too much bigger than bass tackle. MXJ 2 speed reels were my favorite. Caught many yellowtail and tuna out west with them.

You old fart, you did it again!

Yeah, they are awesome for sure. I almost pulled the trigger on a couple of the single speed JX's, thinking they would be great for my wife since they are so small and light. Plus, charkbait has a few special run colors, and I'm a sucker for anything that is "limited." Haha
