It's always good to hear the best practices for your most expensive investment in this sport, but it's also good to know who to see in case you have problems. This section is looking for input of good mechanics, fiberglass guys and dealers around the state and neighboring states. There is never enough that can be discussed on this subject so we hope you guys share that info with all of us on here!

My fishing buddy is thi king about upgrading his outboard,he has a 1999 Force 120 HP in great shape,How much is it worth?Thanks

Sorry bout that, I noticed you had the year on there. I don't even think used outboards are valued in the KBB.
I will guess it wouldn't be more than $1500, at best. Age and Make (Force is a low end brand).

Thank you for your reply,$1500.00 was where we thought we would start but probably lower now.
He had a new water pump ,carbs rebuilt and all the other little issues, it starts and runs great.
