I know that Georgia has some very popular flyfishing destinations and some folks who are dedicated to that sport! We welcome you and hope to hear all about those places, experiences and knowledge. I was wondering about the warm water applications such as South Georgia, Alabama and Florida, or even some of the inland coastal opportunities. I know you guys are out there and hope to be hearing from you soon!

The first and the last time I went fly fishing was about 30 years ago was at Norris Lake in TN below the Dam. Somehow I tied my leader tippet in a knot while whale back and forth. During that time everyone below the Dam fishing had packed up and left, according to my son it was because of me whaling that fly rod. I did not catch a fish. On my way walking back out there was this old man with a stringer of trout. I asked how did you catch so may, He said with a can of niblet corn, so the next time I went trout fishing I had a can of Niblet Corn and a spinning reel.
I want my freedom back!!!!! Never know what you have missed unless it is threatened to be taken away from you!

Most bass fishermen love that topwater strike, fishing buzzbaits frogs or any other top water baits. You will love using a fly rod bass fishing!!! Hard to fish with two people in the boat, haven't done it in a long time!!! My father and use to fish for crappie using a fly rod. You have try it once in you life time!!

I'm not out for there, I'm still here & feel good after reading this thread. I'm also interested for fly fishing but don't have accessories to cover a fly fishing.
