There are parts of Georgia where Crappie is KING, it is popular among certain competitive anglers as well. Georgia is surrounded by neighboring states with great Crappie and Bass fishing, as well. We welcome all reports, techniques, tackle discussions, lake reports and tournament reports. You are welcome to use our Calendar to post your events, seminars and other noteworthy participation items.
As mentioned throughout the forums, please keep it clean and informative and share your wisdom and fishing knowledge with the members.
Enjoy!! grin

How is it going now that we are into late and post spawn?? still well on the mid chattahoochie lakes. if you know where to look. lot of buck males guarding eggs in 1-3' of water. casting a minnow under a cork works or a jig under a float. Females are out close to the breakline in 8-15' water depends on the creek.. Plenty people catching them shootin docks... great time of year to feel the thump..

Hi yall...this is my first post here, and I'm a crappie addict, I just can't help myself, I'm hooked...
I don't live in Ga. I live in Grenada, Ms. and also have a home in the Ozark Mountains of Ar.
I own a crappie guide service here at Grenada Lake, and Enid Lake, Ms. and I still can't get enough of crappie fishing. It get's in your blood feeling that tug on the end of pole.
Yall have a great site here, and I love reading and talking about crappie.
Good Fishing To Yall.....
