When I’m back to work next week, I’ll start posting the names of wildlife I observe while in-country. There are a few species that can be found in Texas, but not many. This thread opener will be a reminder to me to start doing this when I arrive in-country. So, stay tuned.

Alright, since you asked…last hitch we saw some Toucans feeding on some kind of fruit or nuts on a tree next to the office. Toucans! What the heck! How cool was that?

Kiskadees are present in large numbers, similar to mockingbirds here in Texas.

Macaw parrots also commonly fly around, pretty cool birds.

There are also thousands of mongoose running around.
