Due to the shape of my yard, I adjoin 7 side and backyard neighbors.

Neighbor #1 is a side neighbor, nice couple, both grotesquely overweight, with an endless stream of food deliveries during the day.

Neighbor #2 has a pool, young kids. Too bad it’s not an adult fun filled pool scene.

Neighbor #3 is an elderly retired couple with a strict schedule. Up at 6am, breakfast, walk, dinner at 6pm, husband always grills something on a BGE, then lights out at 9pm. What a boring life they have.

Neighbor #4 is a younger couple with a couple of kids. They rarely go outside.

Neighbors #5 and #6 are enigmatic, never seen them in a few years.

Regarding neighbors #5 and #6, I’ve never smelled decaying flesh, so I don’t think they are dead.

Neighbor #7 are the most active, daily Amazon and FedEx deliveries, white Mercedes Benz parked in the street, rarely driven, and someone comes home from work at 1am every night. We say hello across the bushes but that’s about it.

For some reason, I don’t think this will be a popular thread.

Bottom line is they leave me alone, and I return the favor.

For the neighborhood in general, I don’t hear air or road noise.

Loads of walking trails

Plenty of wildlife, including birds

Although when dogs escape fenced yards, they are either found quickly or disappear in the woods and are probably eaten by coyotes.

Good mix of people, plenty of young ladies to look at and olds to discuss WW2 movies.
