I think it would be great to be alone on a far away island. As long there was a way to get clean water and I had enough supplies to be able to catch fish or maybe snare some fresh meat, I think I could do just fine.

I’m trying to build my equipment list:

Rope
A couple of good knives and a way to sharpen
A million miles of fishing line and a 5 gallon bucket full of hooks.
A bucket of lead weights.
A couple of pans to cook in
Magnesium lighter
A spare pair of crocs or two
Some clothes would be nice
Some way to make a reliable source of alcohol.
Edit....I think I also want a couple of big tarps and a big tent would also be nice with a cot in it
I will add to the list in a bit. Feel fee to make your additions.

Edit...since I now have a big tent and a cot, I might as well have a generator and refrigerator , maybe a little window unit ac would be nice.

Edit....I am going to need a bunch of gasoline to power the generator so I might as well have something like an ATV

Edit....WiFi would be nice so I can watch the weather.

Edit...it might be nice to have a kayak as well.

And a bug assault gun. Those lump up guns that shoot salt at bugs. And a ten pound bag of salt.

A pair of ice skates so you can knock your own bad tooth out

Absolutely that needs to be on the list.

I might also add a toothbrush to my list. And a way to shave.

If I were alone on an island, I would want a dog, a lifetime supply of dog food, a smoker and brisket, or, a big pot of chili with beans.

I think I would also want a 22 year old version of Jessica Simpson or Britney Spears as a companion.

Brittney is better.

I want the old versions as well so they could teach the younger versions what to do. Kind of like a fishing guide can shorten the learning curve on a new body of water.
