I have no plans on stopping my tournaments on Sunday Afternoon. I suggest we exercise common sense and practice distancing ourselves and not hanging out in crowds. Look around you if someone appears to be sick put more distance between you and them. I carry a bar of soap in my boat (always have. I was taught that fish could sense your oil on the lures), now it has multiple purposes. That said, I cannot think of a safer place than being on the lake fishing! We have this Sunday and next weekend then the Sunday Afternoon tournaments are done until November. Come and join us and if you don't make it we'll miss you regardless of your reasons! Fees are unchanged, $20 to the tournament which includes a $5 Big Bass, and a 1-5 payback (6 places after 25 no matter how many) and a $10 side pot (optional but everyone gets in it!). Rules are simple: you decide individual/team/how many in the team, 3 fish limit per entry, 1 dead fish allowed and Big Bass must be alive, no live bait and be courteous and friendly. Most of all, HAVE FUN! The park manager wanted me to remind you guys that this is not a COE ramp and the COE passes will not work here. Please either get an envelope and put your money in the box down by the ramp on the right, or get the Bartow County launch pass ($5 a day or $40 for the annual). All events are 1PM till 5PM until the daylight savings time shift in March then we finish out at 1PM till 6PM. All tournaments are held out of Bartow County Gatewood Park: Exit GA-20 exit on I-75 and turn east, Turn south at the light (right from I-75, left from Canton) next to Wendy's onto Spur 20. Go about 2 miles and turn left on Jim Knight Rd., Turn left when it dead ends at the Bartow Beach Rd. (right in front of the COE maintenance yard). Stay on the Beach road and stay to the left past the park Manager's house and follow the signs to the left to the boat ramp

Don't know what happened, but I would bet I did something stupid like not saving them. Hold tight and I will get it back up there.

Temperatures were in the low 60s most of the day and Windy out of the SSE. Water temps ranged from 57 to 58 for the most part and lake is clearing nicely. Lake level was at 834 MSL and stable. With no torrential rainfall things should start to get back on track for the spring spawn. We had 25 paid entries today with 46 anglers weighing 48 fish for a total of 85.07 lbs (an avg of 1.77 lbs per fish! Coming up). There were 5 places paid today, Here's how the money spots paid out. 5th place went to Rick and Danny with 3 fish for 5.82 lbs and $38 4th place went to Chris and Shane with 3 fish for 6.14 lbs and $56 3rd place was Nick and Zack with 3 fish for 6.53 lbs and $75 2nd place went to Camden and tony with 3 fish for 8.03 lbs for $94 1st place was Chuck and Joe C with 3 fish for 9.85 lbs for $112, and the side pot of $260. They also had Big Bass with a 3.86 lb Spotted bass for $125! Wow, awesome job! I was impressed with the way you guys conducted yourselves considering the fear factor about Coronavirus. You managed to naturally space out and instead of a handshake, every body was using the "elbow bump" salutation and it worked pretty danged good. Hopefully, this will pass in a timely manner and things will get back to some state of "normal" again (I hope much sooner than later). Pray for the small business owners and service workers like the waiters and servers in the restaurants who work for tips. This is going to hurt all of us in some way or another, but we are a resilient bunch of folks and we can beat this! Pray to God for help as well. Just a reminder to all of you who Kevin Bagley, say a prayer for his family with his untimely passing. We will all miss him no doubt, some moreso than others! RIP!

Got it Bob thanks I always look forward to your reports. Staying home at my age do not need the exposure.
