Sorry for the last couple of weeks! Hopefully there won't be anymore computer issues at my house for a while. We're back up and running! This Sunday will be partly cloudy and a little cool, but still nice! Come on out and join us! Just a reminder that the fees are unchanged $20 for the tournament ($15 for the pay back and $5 for Big Bass) and a $10 optional side pot. Three fish limit, 12" minimum, 1 dead fish allowed and Big Bass must be alive, no live bait. You decide if you are a team (as many folks as allowed in the boat) or by yourself, you decide. One entry is three fish. Anyway, most folks reading this have fished my events and would be more than willing to tell you the rules (LOL).
All events are 1PM till 5PM until the daylight savings time shift in March then we finish out at 1PM till 6PM. All tournaments are held out of Bartow County Gatewood Park: Exit GA-20 exit on I-75 and turn east, Turn south at the light (right from I-75, left from Canton) next to Wendy's onto Spur 20. Go about 2 miles and turn left on Jim Knight Rd., Turn left when it dead ends at the Bartow Beach Rd. (right in front of the COE maintenance yard). Stay on the Beach road and stay to the left past the park Manager's house and follow the signs to the left to the boat ramp

Starting to feel a little more like the season!! Wasn't cold, but definitely pretty cool today! Regardless we had a nice showing today with 31 paid entries and a total of 53 anglers out there on the water this afternoon. The last two-three weeks were lack-luster in terms of quality and in the numbers of large mouth bass actually weighed in. Today, those bigger fish and largemouth bass finally started showing up. Water temps are also finally in the 50s with today's temps pretty much 57 degree all over the lake, with fairly clear water. There were 61 fished weighed today for a total weight of 96.63lbs (avg 1.58lbs), 10 of those were largemouth bass including Big Bass. 5th place went to Joe C. with 3 fish for 5.11 and $23 4th place was a tie @ 5.85lbs Nick and Zack took $63 and so did Jeff G. 3rd place was Paul H. who had 3 fish for 6.55lbs for $93 2nd place was Thad and Kelly with 3 fish for 7.05 for $107, they also had a 4.16lb LMB for $155 1st place went to Mason and Scott with 3 fish for 7.42lbs, good for $116 and the side pot os $320 As always, Congratulations to the money spots, WTG guys. I enjoyed your company today and was really happy to see all of the youngsters out there today. Being a grandpa myself, I enjoy the little guys! See ya'll next Sunday!
