To go from almost 80 degrees yesterday to the mid 40's this morning was a big "blow" to fishing conditions, and to "ME"! This has been typical with the weather this year, and it seems we should be use to these "drastic" changes by now. "BUT" the bite didn't change, well not much at least. Despite the north winds this morning a lot of the deeper areas were still consistent with some quality fish, and most of the smaller fish were still active in the shallow pockets. The last 3 days has been an absolute blast on Chickamauga with several different patterns producing quality fish. This lake can show an angler one heck of a time, especially this time of year when the fish are coming off of their spawning cycle to fatten back up again. Get out and enjoy it! Mike Carter
