Today was a "tremendous" day of fishing on the Big G!! It seemed each area we checked there were some solid fish present. We stayed with Choo Choo Shakers and Swimjigs around shallow grass and stumps and was able to get several quality fish. I mostly made a lot of short videos instead of pictures to put on Facebook and Instagram for viewing. The deeper grass bite with 1 oz. Traps was a little tough due to the strong current and highly stained water, and of course the "FLOATING DEAD EEL GRASS"!!! When the lake gets settled back down the next few weeks should consist of some great Bass fishing on Guntersville Lake with several effective patterns. Have some fun. Mike Carter
