LAST ONE OF THE SEASON!! I know we will miss some of our regulars who will be fishing the same night in the Victoria Monday Night Classic (on Saturday night). All I can say is that I hope you all do well in the Classic!! As for the rest of you guys, well come on out and join us!! It's been a great summer with a great turnout all summer long and I hope this one will be no different! As much as I love running these night time events, it is time to shift gears and get ready for the Sunday Afternoon events that start up the first Sunday in November (I am so ready for the cooler temps!!) Come on out and join us, sleep in a little later on Sunday and go to the evening service!! All tournaments are held out of Bartow County Gatewood Park: Exit GA-20 exit on I-75 and turn east, Turn south at the light (right from I-75, left from Canton) next to Wendy's onto Spur 20. Go about 2 miles and turn left on Jim Knight Rd., Turn left when it dead ends at the Bartow Beach Rd. (right in front of the COE maintenance yard). Stay on the Beach road and stay to the left past the park Manager's house and follow the signs to the left to the boat ramp If the lot is full or the paybox has no envelopes, just let me know and I will give you directions ns

The last Midnight Madness of the season was done with a nice evening, comfortable temps, light breeze, 81 degree water and clear, fairly light boat traffic. The Monday Night Vitoria tournament was going on at the same time and had a considerable number of our regular participants. That resulted in our lowest turn-out for the summer, 18 paid entries (19 boats with mine), 30 anglers. The number of fish weighed was 30 for a total weight of 71.36lbs, an average of 1.40lbs per fish(also one of the lowest averages this summer). here are the money spots from last night: 4th place went to Lonnie T. and Jarrod with 5 fish for 8.44lbs and $72 3rd place went to Bill P and Scott B. with 5 fish for 8.75lbs and $144 2nd place went to Wally and I with 5 fish for 9.18lbs and $216 1st place went to Michel P. and Lonnie with 5 fish for 9.70lbs and $288, they also got the side pot for $190 Big Bass went to Gary F. and mark with a 2.88lb spot for $180 I had fun this summer and hope that you guys did too. We will do this again next year if all goes well. In the meanwhile, we will be starting the Sunday Afternoon events up on the first Sunday in November and run them through the end of March 2018. Looking forward to seeing you guys. I will post a flyer on the bulletin board at the ramp and on here and Facebook.
