Today was one of those days that the "Big G" lived up to it's valuable reputation. We started out around some shallow grass with the new Bull Wake Shad and my client got to experience an absolute "EXPLOSION" from an 8.7 lb. giant. It was a blast to get to see just how hard these fish hit this bait and to see this guy enjoy another personal best from the "Big G". We then went to some deeper 12-15 ft. grass and shell beds and the action continued using Choo Choo Rocker jigs with Producer Craw trailers. This was some action that was hard to leave but this guy wanted to also try some "punchin grass" for the first time. With no current this bite turned out to be a little tougher but we were still able to put a couple in the boat on a 1 1/2 oz. Choo Choo Titan jig. The water is back to normal summer level and the floating eel grass is back also as we expected which creates a frustrating disaster when trying to fish a quality area effectively. A great day on the lake. Have fun, Mike Carter
