Hopefully this weekend won't be as chaotic as the Memorial Day weekend, and the weather looks like we might get a break as well. Come on out and join us this Saturday night. $50 for the tournament ($40 to a 1-5 payback, $10 to Big Bass), and $10 Side Pot (winner take all). We had 27 boats last time, let's see if we can top it this time! All tournaments are held out of Bartow County Gatewood Park: Exit GA-20 exit on I-75 and turn east, Turn south at the light (right from I-75, left from Canton) next to Wendy's onto Spur 20. Go about 2 miles and turn left on Jim Knight Rd., Turn left when it dead ends at the Bartow Beach Rd. (right in front of the COE maintenance yard). Stay on the Beach road and stay to the left past the park Manager's house and follow the signs to the left to the boat ramp

Clear, low of 65 degrees, 5 mph wind to calm, full moon, sounds like it's going to be good night to be on the water!!!

Nice evening last night, especially after the sun went down and most of the pleasure boaters went home. Water temps in the mid 80s, clear for the most part to about 5-6' deep in some areas. It actually got kind of chilly around 1AM, but still nice. We had 41 paid entries, 42 boats with mine. A total of 79 anglers, 14 boats did not weigh fish. A total of 137 fish were brought to the scales for a total of 233.05lbs(an average of 1.70lbs per fish). There were 6 Largemouth bass weighed and the rest were spotted bass (including the Big Bass). WE had a very generous payout last night, here's the results: 6th place went to Hootie and Waymond with 5 fish for 10.82lbs for $82 5th place was Tom and David with 5 fish for 10.89lbs for $164 4th place went to Bill P. and Joel with 5 fish for 11.48lbs and $279 3rd place was Rocky and Herron with 5 fish for 11.94lbs and $328 2nd place was Lonnie and Shrek (John) with 5 fish for 11.96lbs for $377 Daniel and Trent got the biggest bag of marbles with 5 fish for 12.75lbs and Big Bass of 4.98lbs. They won $410 for 1st, another $410 for Big Bass and another $410 for the side pot.. WTG folks!!! We'll be back on June 234th for another Midnight Madness, see ya then!!
