Well the weather is shaping up for another one of those spring like days in the winter (73 for a high?!) Come on out and see if you can get a little sun burnt with us!!
1:00PM till 5PM. $20 entry covers $5 Big Bass and 1 in 5 payback. Also a $10 side pot (optional). It will be fun so come on out and join us!
All tournaments are held out of Bartow County Gatewood Park: Exit GA-20 exit on I-75 and turn east, Turn south at the light (right from I-75, left from Canton) next to Wendy's onto Spur 20. Go about 2 miles and turn left on Jim Knight Rd., Turn left when it dead ends at the Bartow Beach Rd. (right in front of the COE maintenance yard). Stay on the Beach road and stay to the left past the park Manager's house and follow the signs to the left to the boat ramp. We usually collect money at the top of the parking lot near the restrooms, but if I'm not there, I will be down by the boat ramp in one of the handicap spaces

Well the rain never materialized during the afternoon and the weather was more like something you would expect in March. 75 degree temps, 50 degree water temps and still pretty doggone clear most places we fished today. We had 23 paid entries for 44 anglers. There were 43 fish weighed in for a total of 82.01bs (average of 1.91lbs per fish). A total of 6 largemouth were weighed but the big fish of the tournament was a 2.93lb spotted bass.

We paid five places, Big Bass and a side pot.

5th place went to Jeff and Thad with 3 fish for 6.34lbs and $35

4th place went to Ricky W. with 3 fish for 6.62lbs and $52

3rd place was Wesley with 3 fish for 6.65lbs and $69

2nd place went to Tom Frick with 3 fish for 6.99lbs and $86

1st place went to Stephen and Taylor with 3 fish for 8.14lbs for $103 and Side Pot of $230, and Big Bass with a 2.93lb spot for $115

I am pooped so this going to be short and sweet! We will see you fine folks next Sunday. Until then, be safe and make a good week of it!
