I got out his morning for an early Crappie trip and the wind made this extremely tough. We still were able to put a few quality "Slabs" in the boat to make it worth getting out for a few hrs. Then after a short lunch with my wife I went out to see how the Bass were doing and if this warm weather had gotten them active, and yes they were! With the south wind blowing and the water temps in the mid-upper 50's, it had all the perfect conditions for some great action. I caught fish on Choo Choo Shakers and Swimjigs and paired these up with 7'6" Extra Heavy Action Hammer Rod along with 20 lb. Vicious EXACT Line. With only one pass I was able to get some good quality fish along with a true 9 lb.1oz "Big-G HAWG"! This warm weather has really got these fish feeding more aggressively and with the next several days looking the same I'm sure the Bass will stay aggressive. "DANG" it's fun so get out and enjoy it!
