Right now it looks like great weather for a tournament on Sunday, the ramp condition is still a go as well. Let's do it!

All tournaments are held out of Bartow County Gatewood Park: Exit GA-20 exit on I-75 and turn east, Turn south at the light (right from I-75, left from Canton) next to Wendy's onto Spur 20. Go about 2 miles and turn left on Jim Knight Rd., Turn left when it dead ends at the Bartow Beach Rd. (right in front of the COE maintenance yard). Stay on the Beach road and stay to the left past the park Manager's house and follow the signs to the left to the boat ramp. We usually collect money at the top of the parking lot near the restrooms, but if I'm not there, I will be down by the boat ramp in one of the handicap spaces

It's hard to write this report while watching the Cowboys and Packers battling out a tie game!!
The weather was absolutely stunning for this time of year, near 70 degrees, light wind and variable, water 51 to 53 degrees where we fished. WE had 21 paid entries for a total of 39 anglers competing this afternoon. WE weighed 39 fish for a total of 66.36lbs (avg 1.70 per fish) and one big girl LMB come in that weighed 6.11lbs!! WE had 9 boats that didn't weigh anything in, that may be due to the anglers deciding they couldn't compete or something like that.
At any rate we paid places, Big Bass and Side Pot today, here's how it went down:
5th place went to Rick and Danny with 3 fish for 5.18lbs and $32
4th place went to Mike and Jonathan with 3 fish for 5.19lbs for $47
3rd place went to Rick G. and Mike G. with 3 fish for 5.49lbs and $63
2nd place went to Mike W. and Shandon W. with 3 fish for 5.67lbs and $79
1st place went to Mr. Joe C. with 3 fish for 10.97lbs good for $94 and the side pot of $200, Joe also had Big BAss with a 6.11lb LMB!!
I left my camera in the boat, but I promise to post a picture tomorrow!
the warm weather looks like it is going to last through next weekend, so come on out and get you some of it!!
