Hows it going everyone one, I'm a Southern California angler and I'm trying to catch some fish I was wondering if anyone has some decent areas I might be able to pull on some green fish or anything really. I know it's hard to give up areas not really asking for secret spots just somewhere where the odds maybe in my favor. I'll be staying really close to Stone Mountain and I've seen on google maps smaller scattered ponds but they look like they are on peoples property not sure how the locals may feel about some stranger stompin around their yards I guess if any of you can point me in the right dirrection I would really appreciate it. I'll be staying in Lakewater estates dr. stone mountain 30087 I know there is a lake down the street but last time i visited didn't seem like anyone was allowed to fish there.

I guess it's "Welcome back to Georgia". I don't know how long you will be in town, I'm not sure how the pond fishing is this time of year up here in the greater Atlanta, but we have some fine guides on Lanier, Carters and Allatoona that would be the safest bet of getting on those green fish!
I know that's not much help, but it's a topic that folks just don't talk about much.

I will be visiting for 3 weeks I arrive Sunday the 17th and return to California on the 6th of January so I will have plenty of time to figure something out. I wouldn't mind a guided trip on Lake Lanier I have been there before and fished the bank mainly with great success on catfish not so much on the green bass. I hear its an awesome lake for the spotted kind, catching a spot would be sick. Also hear the striper are pretty big in Lanier. I wouldn't mind some trout fishin either being that it makes more sense for the time of season.

Louie is about as good as it gets and has several folks working with him that cover Carters and Allatoona, and even Chickamauga in Chattanooga, TN. I've personally known Louie for several years now and will vouch for his competency and integrity!!
