The north wind was strong, the water was white capping, and once again the fish were "annihilating" our Echo Crankbaits. The fish seemed to be more concentrated together today within smaller confined areas, and the solid quality was there along with a good number of small fish. The wind made it tough staying with these areas, but when we did get lined up and the wind didn't carry our lure too far off line we were able to get hit. The gentleman I had today wanted to learn a few patterns and how to use and present crankbaits this time of year, and I think that even having to fight the wind the way we did he got to enjoy some great fishing in some tough conditions. Get out and have some fun. Mike Carter
