Beginning with Sunday November 6, 2016 through the last Sunday in march 2017. There will be one or two exceptions, Christmas Day falls on a Sunday this year so we obviously will not do that Sunday. Tournament Times are 1PM till 5PM, in the spring if we get daylight savings time we normally do a couple until 6PM. I usually arrive around noon to collect entry fees.
This is great value and has not changed in the last five years! Our entry fee is $20, $5 of that goes to Big Bass and $15 goes to a 1 plc in five entries up to 30 entries (we pay 6 places, regardless, at that point). We also have an optional $10 side pot (very popular) winner take all pot for heaviest creel.
There are no rules except fish must be caught on artificial baits only (no live bait). No rod length limits, no restrictions on fly fishing, no restrictions on trolling. Literally, if you are legal in Georgia you are legal with us.
There are no team limits, you can only weigh 3 bass, spotted and/or largemouth (minimum 12" long) PER ENTRY. You determine the team or individual. If you want to bring your kids and their grandpa too and call it a team? NO PROBLEM! If you want to fish by yourself? NO PROBLEM. If you want to bring a brother and both of you pay an entry? Keep your fish separated and compete with one another? NO PROBLEM.
The point is that we get together every Sunday afternoon and have some fun. It can be as much about the parking lot banter and joking around as the fishing! No fish off, no championship, just fish the ones you want. If you choose to fish all of them, we'ld love to see ya!
