This was another fun day of shallow "crankin" on Lake Weiss. I had 3 gentlemen from Ga. that wanted to learn a few areas and patterns for this time of year and we were able to put together several solid areas that held some quality fish. We can also once again get into a real good conversation about "the one that got away", and this was a true Weiss Lake "Big-Un". It engulfed my clients crankbait and when it decided to turn it took his crankbait and went the other direction, and there just wasn't a heck of a lot he could do about it except wave goodby to the fish and his/my crankbait. That's why we keep wanting to go back. Fantastic day with 3 great guys. Get out and have some fun. Mike Carter

Darn it, Mike. I through that danged CB till my arms flew off today and couldn't produce diddly! fished the side from Weiss mart to the River Queen. Obviously not in prime real estate!
