Today was a good sign of things to come with Bass fishing on the "Big-G". The somewhat cooler temps have finally got the fish going into a little more of an aggressive mode and they have finally started to show some action. We started at 8am and went to swimming Choo Choo Jigs around scattered grass in 6-8 ft. of water, and with little success at the first couple of stops we finally was able to find a few that were willing to cooperate. For a 4 hr. trip we had a pretty good morning and with fishing we always have the story of the "one that got away". My client had a very nice "Big-Un" on for just a short while, but after burying up in the grass and a little bit more of tugging, the fish decided it was time to go leaving my client with an "Oh Well" smile. Signs of more aggression on the lake are getting better. Get out and enjoy it while it's here. Have fun, Mike Carter
