Well the Mississippi River is finally going down and it wont be long before all the trout and redfish migrate into the river system. We'll start catching fish right next to the marina rather than the 25+ miles we run everyday to get to our fish.

I grew up in Houston. My Dad and I used to go out with one of his friends fishing for Kings. Sometimes we would drift behind a shrimp boat that was anchored for the day. WE would catch cobia out of the shadow of the shrimp boat by floating ribbonfish. What a thrill!! Fine eating too!
