I had a good friend/client from Tn. come down today to fish on the "Big-G". We started out shallow early with little success, except for one "G-ville Big Un" that my client had on for a brief time, but long enough to know that this was for sure a "HAWG" of a fish. Then after that short brief fight the fish decided it had somewhere better to go and just politely came off and left the both of us with a couple of blank stares and questioned looks on our faces. We went back to fishing again thinking this just didn't happen, but it did. It wasn't long when we decied to move out to some deeper water and see if the fish had move out because of the falling water, and it turned out to be a good move. We were able to catch a few solid fish and my client was able to make up for the one he lost and get a nice-un to hit and stay on. We were able to get a few fish shallow on Choo Choo Lures Swim Jigs and Shakers, and used 1 oz. Rat-L-Traps and Shakers out in the deeper areas. Stay tuned for round 2 tomorrow, same Bat Time, same Bat Channel. Get out and have fun. Mike Carter [Linked Image]
