We will be meeting this Wednesday at Center Street Tavern and Grill in Old Town Acworth, click the link in my signature for our website. The meeting will start about 7:00 PM. If you want to join, membership is $25, New members cannot get in the Calcutta Pot until they fish 3 consecutive tournaments, then catch up the amount in the pot (as the other members). our tournament entry is $20 = $5 (Big Bass). Entry must be paid by close of business on the Wednesday night meeting prior to the tournament. This is our second tournament of the season and our point system is based on the best 8 tournaments of the 10 scheduled tournament so you still have a chance at AOY and the top six! Those of you that fish my Porko Tournaments already know a lot of our members so come and join the club to meet the other fine fellers in our group!

Cool and overcast, with heavy stained to downright muddy water with temps around 49 to 51 degrees.17 club members hit the lake hard today, There were several other tournaments today as well making this lake fish realty "small". After your first few cast this morning you soon found yourself fishing used water. I guess you can attribute that to the amount of "cleaner" water available. Regardless, someone usually comes through with a pattern or technique, This year's winner also won the last time on Jackson, so I reckon you could call this lake, "Caleb's Lake". He came off with the win and Big Bass today, 10.54lbs for five fish and a 4.13lb largemouth for Big Bass honors. Danny cole came in second wit 5 fish for 6.47lbs. Barry Martin had 4 fish for 5.67lbs for third, Daryl Jones netted the final payday today with 4 fish for 4.66lbs. Congrats to today's winners, you certainly earned it!!
