It's funny, just "Dang Funny"! With the screwed up weather and the constant fluctuation of water levels the fishing has been nothing less but "unpredictable". "BUT", when it's on it is an absolute "Blast". I covered a lot of water today looking for fish for some up-coming trips and once again it was one of those days where it seemed everything worked. From Rat-L-Traps to Echo Squarebills, and Choo Choo Lures Jigs and Shakers, the fish were eating. This was extremely different from the tournament on Sunday, but once again what a difference a little change in the weather and water level can make for a great day of fishing on the "Big-G". Just when you think that you can't seem to do the right thing and get a fish to hit, you turn around and you just can't do anything wrong and the fish seem to hit almost any lure you put in front of them, well almost any lure.
