Today I got out with a client/friend from Tn. for some Bass fishing on the "Big-G". The last few weeks have been wide open with Crappie so we decided to see if the Bass would cooperate as well. "DANG" did they ever! We had to fight the southeast wind all morning but it was well worth it. This wind direction made it tough to stay on some of the deeper grass lines, but when we did get lined up right and was able to make a cast without an extreme bow in our line, the fish would just "eat" our Rat-L-Traps. We stayed in an average of 7-10 ft. of water with 3/4 oz. Rat-L-Traps paired up with 20 lb. Vicious Line and 7'6" Heavy Action Hammer Rods. The water is back to normal and since the flood came through it took a lot of the Hydrilla and Milfoil with it, and this can make throwing these big Traps a little easier now. Get out and have fun.
