The Correct Date is Sunday, Nov 15, 2015. Right now, we actually have a cool sunny fall day forecasted for Sunday. I sure hope they are right!? We need to dry out for a while! Well this tracker is officially open and everything is a GO for the next Porko's. Come on out and join us!
From I-75 North or South, Take Exit 290 (Cartersville/GA20 Exit) Travel East on GA 20 approximately 500 feet and take a right on GA Spur 20 (Between Kangaroo Grocery and Wendy's), travel approximately 3 miles and take a left on Bartow County Beach Road (the Corps signs no longer exist, so look for the small Gatewood Ramp sign)or turn left on Jim Knight Rd. and go till it dead-ends to Bartow County Beach Rd and turn left. Travel to the end of Bartow County Beach Road and the ramp will be on your left

Well, Tom, it was not sunny and you showed up! Wow you are a magician or something like that! It was pretty cloudy all afternoon, a little cool, wind was pretty light and tolerable. Pretty nice afternoon and we shared it 48 others for a total of 50 anglers, 27 paid entries, 28 boats altogether. There were 53 fish brought to the scales for a total of 72lbs. ( I saw at least 3 boats dump their fish instead of weighing them). There will just always be a winner (we have seen exceptions before), and today we paid 6 places, Big Bass and a side pot. Here is how it played out: 6th place went to Dakota and Jessica with 3 fish for 4.48lbs and $20 5th place was Matt and Scott with 3 fish for 4.68lbs and $41 4th place went to Tom and Ken with 3 fish for 5.16lbs and $69 3rd place was Jason and Hannah with 3 fish for 5.40lbs and $81 2nd place went to Justin and Stephen with 3 fish for 5.59lbs and $93, they also had Big Bass with a spotted bass weighing 2.93lbs for $135 1st place went to Chris and Tom with 3 fish for 6.00lbs and $101, and the side pot of $270
Great Job to the money spots. Hopefully, we will have some decent weather next Sunday too. Looking forward to seeing all of you again next weekend. Until then don't work too hard and be safe.
