I plan to fish Logan Martin a few times this month with a tournament on the 26th. I have never been there before. Any advise for fishing over there in September? Areas/depths/cover to target?

Where is the tournament going out of? The lower end of the lake will be boat docks, boat docks and boat docks. Water temperature determining whether or not your are fishing main lake near deep water or pockets, coves and creek boat docks. There are plenty of points and humps that work really well with crankbaits and c-rigs. If the water is up there is plenty of frog water with standing emergent grass the further up the lake you go. You will find that you can fish just about anything you like to fish with and catch fish on that lake in September.

That sounds good. The tourney is putting in at Pell City park. from my google maps research it looks to be in the middle of the lake.
