I am humbled once more! lol! Or should I say that I am always in a state of "Awe" when I weigh these fish in? Stan and I struggled last night and we figured everyone must be suffering a similar night, and I imagine a number of you might have been since 16 boats didn't even bring fish to the scales. When you look at these totals, they were caught by the other 16 (boats). We had 31 paid entries (plus our boat) last night for a total 61 anglers. There were 73 fish weighed for a total of 135.5lbs (avg. 1.86lbs). Big Bass was another largemouth weighing 7.17lbs, only 3 largemouth were weighed (the other two weighed 3.28lbs and 3.72lbs). The largest spotted bass of the night was 4.57lbs, there were a number 2-3lbs spots weighed in.
We paid 6 places last night and a side pot, here are the money spots;
6th place went to Brian and Doyle with 5 fish for 8.36lbs for $62
5th place was Danny T. and Ricky "One Rod" with 5 fish for 9.09lbs and $124
4th place went to Sonny and Jamey with 5 fish for 11.28lbs, for $211
3rd place was Justin and Joseph M. with 5 good fish for 12.04lbs and $248
2nd place went to Bill P. and Chad with another good sack of fish weighing 13.38lbs for $285, They also had Big Bass (3rd time in a row) with a largemouth weighing 7.17lbs, good for $310. This team is one of the most consistent teams I have witnessed in my events!
1st place went to Tom and David with 5 really nice fish for 15.52lbs, for $310, and side pot of $310
