This Sunday and one more and the Sundays are done until November! So if you want to join us this season you have just two opportunities left. The weather has finally broken and the warm weather is here. The bass are moving up and the days are longer (meaning we will fish 1PM till 6PM on these last two) so come on out and join us!

From I-75 North or South, Take Exit 290 (Cartersville/GA20 Exit) Travel East on GA 20 approximately 500 feet and take a right on GA Spur 20 (Between Kangaroo Grocery and Wendy's), travel approximately 3 miles and take a left on Bartow County Beach Road (the Corps signs no longer exist, so look for the small Gatewood Ramp sign)or turn left on Jim Knight Rd. and go till it dead-ends to Bartow County Beach Rd and turn left. Travel to the end of Bartow County Beach Road and the ramp will be on your left

It was a truly beautiful afternoon, maybe a bit windy at times, but overall really nice. We had 18 paid entries with 35 anglers out there today, but only 9 boats brought fish to the scales. That pretty much surprised me, along with the quality of the fish being a little lower today as well. We weighed 26 fish for a total of 42.29lbs an average of 1.63lbs. Big bass was a 4.29lb largemouth. Here are the money spots:
4th place went to Brian and Dakota with 3 fish for 4.84lbs and $27
3rd place went to Terry and Fat Rat with 3 fish for 4.93lbs and $54
2nd place went to Alex and Scott with 3 fish for 4.98lbs and $81
1st place went to Jim and Joe with 3 fish for 9.93lbs, $108 for 1st and $180 for the side pot
Brandon and Ben had big bass honors with the 4.29lb Largemouth for $90

We have our last event of the season on next Sunday. I hope ya'll can make it out there to Gatewood and join us.
