On the home stretch now. We have this one and then another one the following weekend. Then we are done with the Sunday afternoons until November 2015! Come one out and join us for the last two!

From I-75 North or South, Take Exit 290 (Cartersville/GA20 Exit) Travel East on GA 20 approximately 500 feet and take a right on GA Spur 20 (Between Kangaroo Grocery and Wendy's), travel approximately 3 miles and take a left on Bartow County Beach Road (the Corps signs no longer exist, so look for the small Gatewood Ramp sign)or turn left on Jim Knight Rd. and go till it dead-ends to Bartow County Beach Rd and turn left. Travel to the end of Bartow County Beach Road and the ramp will be on your left

Looks as though Porko is going to finally get a beautiful day for his Sunday afternoon tournaments.

Richard, it was definitely a welcome change in the weather! Very nice indeed! By late afternoon I was seeing 50 degree water as well! Things are looking up! I heard of some nice weights up at the Sunday Morning tourney at Galts Ferry (17+ lbs for the win!), we saw some nice weights for the 3 fish limits on this event with 10.35lbs for the win. In fact we had a great turnout yesterday with 22 paid entries, 39 anglers all told. There were 33 fish weighed for 65.75lbs, 9 of those were largemouth bass. Ironically, the Big Bass of the tournament was a 5.63lb Spotted Bass (Beautiful FISH!). Here are the money spots from yesterday:
5th place went to Mike with 2 fish for 6.34lbs and Big Bass for 5.63lbs, He won $33 for 5th and $110 for Big Bass
4th place went to Larry G with 3 fish for 6.73lbs and $50
3rd place was Jim and Joe with 3 fish for 7.97lbs and $66
2nd place was Kacy and Justin with 3 fish for 8.78lbs and $82
1st place went to Rick and Danny with 3 fish for 10.35lbs for $99

Wanna see the Big Bass?? Here's mike with the 5.63lb spot!

Our last event this season will be March 22, 2015, so we will have two more events as of right now.
