Let's try this again! The weather forecast appears to be at least warmer this coming Sunday. I am hoping we will be able to fish this coming Sunday because I really hate cancelling events like that. The good thing is that everyone I talked to seem to really appreciate cancelling it yesterday! lol Anyway, this tracker is open From I-75 North or South, Take Exit 290 (Cartersville/GA20 Exit) Travel East on GA 20 approximately 500 feet and take a right on GA Spur 20 (Between Kangaroo Grocery and Wendy's), travel approximately 3 miles and take a left on Bartow County Beach Road (the Corps signs no longer exist, so look for the small Gatewood Ramp sign)or turn left on Jim Knight Rd. and go till it dead-ends to Bartow County Beach Rd and turn left. Travel to the end of Bartow County Beach Road and the ramp will be on your left

The weather forecast is for rain in the morning and cloudy tomorrow afternoon with a high around 55 degrees and 5-10 mph wind out of the NNE. I'll gladly fish in that!! We are wide open go for tomorrow so we'll see you guys!

Low 50s air temp, Cloudy, calm, occasional drizzle and fog described the weather this afternoon. Water temps ranging from 42 degrees to 45 degrees where Wally and fished. Stained to pretty darned stained! There were 13 paid entries for a total of 23 anglers out there this afternoon. The results.... not one single fish brought to the scales!! Three boats reported catching a single keeper each, but releasing them because they didn't believe they would win with those fish. If any one of those folks would have brought the fish to the scales, they would've walked away with about $400! As it turned out everyone who wanted their money back was refunded. Those who wanted to apply it to next week's event were able to do that as well. Oh well! Mother nature gets one in the win column!
