Should be interesting with the hard pull on the lake to get the level back down, slightly warmer temps after this week's deep freeze. We will be out there and hope to see all of yall out there too!

From I-75 North or South, Take Exit 290 (Cartersville/GA20 Exit) Travel East on GA 20 approximately 500 feet and take a right on GA Spur 20 (Between Kangaroo Grocery and Wendy's), travel approximately 3 miles and take a left on Bartow County Beach Road (the Corps signs no longer exist, so look for the small Gatewood Ramp sign)or turn left on Jim Knight Rd. and go till it dead-ends to Bartow County Beach Rd and turn left. Travel to the end of Bartow County Beach Road and the ramp will be on your left

Well the temps were a bit warmer today (than yesterday), I think we managed 42 degrees, overcast and breezy out of the south southeast most of the afternoon. The lake is still dropping about a foot every day and a half. Water temps ranged from 44 to 46 degrees at the places we went today.

We had a light turnout with only 7 paid entries, including ours, for a total of 13 anglers, we brought a total of 4 limits to the scales (12 fish) and 3 largemouth bass. There were only two places paid today and this is how it came down:

2nd place with 3 fish for 6.81lbs was Rick and Mike for $42

1st place went to Brad and Verta with 3 fish for 9.72lbs for $63, Big Bass of 4.15lbs for $35 and the side pot for $70

Hope for warmer weather and a good turnout next weekend. My thanks to Monty C for fishing with me today. I enjoyed the company!

See yall next weekend!
