Fished our two day classic on the big O this weekend. Saturday we caught fish with the best five going 9.63 and was good for the lead on day one. Sunday I had 3 keeper fish to pull of, so we only weighed in 4 Sunday. We missed first by a 1/2 lb or so whitch was a 600.00 diffrence. I believe this was the worst I seen oconnee in years. 7 of our nine fish was off a bone #5 shad rap. After a couple of lost fish I put a red hook on the front and didn't lose a fish the rest of the day. Probably caught 20 plus on the crank bait and 4 on a worm. Water was clear for oconnee standards and 54 at blast off to 59 by the end of the day. Day one our fish came off of hang over bushes or may fly bushes what I call them. Day two was mostly over cast, our fish was scattered around shallow docks sitting on nothing. It was a grind for us but we ended up third for the tourney and cashed a 700.00 check. We ended the year third in points. Folks natures put on a well run trail with the first place team bringing home 1300 that's not bad for a 60 dollar tourney. There is a bunch of great guys and some good sticks there, check then out next year. I'm looking foward to getting back to the BFL next year at Guntersville. Tight lines and God bless

Hey Scott, when does NTB schedule start up again? Is it team? I'm not Scott, but to answer your question it should start in February and it is a Team Trail. We have fished it all 3 years and Christie and David do a great job with the trail. Do a search for Radical Tackle Team Trail.

Sorry mo been busy, I believe ranger man is right. I'm studying the choo choo BFL next year. We had a blast with a lot of good folks fishing it this year. There is some good sticks along with everyone able to take it and fish it out!!! Lol I can smell the grass at Guntersville already.
