We are still off to a good start with a total 28 boats last Sunday. Don't let the weather scare you this weekend. You could find yourself sitting in the house wishing you were out there with us! Come on out and join us!

From I-75 North or South, Take Exit 290 (Cartersville/GA20 Exit) Travel East on GA 20 approximately 500 feet and take a right on GA Spur 20 (Between Kangaroo Grocery and Wendy's), travel approximately 3 miles and take a left on Bartow County Beach Road (the Corps signs no longer exist, so look for the small Gatewood Ramp sign)or turn left on Jim Knight Rd. and go till it dead-ends to Bartow County Beach Rd and turn left. Travel to the end of Bartow County Beach Road and the ramp will be on your left

The weather started out really nice! Then it kind of slowly turned went bad. It never really rained hard and it really didn't blow hard. It was just sort light to steady rain all afternoon. From what I could tell everyone stayed till the end of the day. We had 23 paid entries with 24 boats included mine. There were 38 anglers and they weighed 43 fish for a total of 56.74LBs (an avg of 1.31lbs per fish). We only had two largemouth today with the rest being Allatoona spots. Big Bass was a pretty spotted bass at 2.93lbs.
We paid 5 places, Big Bass and had a side pot today. Here's how it went down:
5th place went to Tom C with 3 fish for 4.10lbs and $35
4th place went to Mike with 3 fish for 4.35lbs and $52
3rd place went to Brandon and Tracy with 3 fish for 5.12lbs and $69 (they are on a roll, in the money 3 times in a row!)
2nd place was Joe C with 3 fish for 5.20lbs and $86
1st place went to Stan and Lonnie with 3 fish for 5.46lbs and $103 and side pot of $200
Big Bass went to 2 newcomers, Spencer and Will with a 2.93lb spotted bass for $115

Congrats to all the winners! Hopefully we will see all you folks next Sunday, same time - same place!
