I can't believe I have been so busy I forgot to put this up! This tracker is open for biz! I will be there around 6PM to start signing folks up so come on out!
For those who have never been up here before, you can use these directions:
From I-75 North or South, Take Exit 290 (Cartersville/GA20 Exit) Travel East on GA 20 approximately 500 feet and take a right on GA Spur 20 (Between Kangaroo Grocery and Wendy's), travel approximately 3 miles and take a left on Bartow County Beach Road (the Corps signs no longer exist, so look for the small Gatewood Ramp sign)or turn left on Jim Knight Rd. and go till it dead-ends to Bartow County Beach Rd and turn left. Travel to the end of Bartow County Beach Road and the ramp will be on your left

Well, we almost had a completely dry night, up until about 1AM (again)! We didn't have any lightning or thunder, but a lot of us had a pretty darned good soaking (heavy!). It stopped before the weigh in, and that made things a little better than the last event!
I need to hook up with some of these folks that do so well on almost every tournament and find out how they do it! This old lake kicked my hiney last night, but as you will see, she was good to quite a few folks!
We had 38 paid entries for a total of 73 anglers last night. They brought 112 fish to the scales for a total of 181.93lbs. That is a 1.62lb average. There were 13 largemouth bass brought in and two of those were over 5lbs (heaviest 5.88lbs). When you weigh these fish in and look at your own pathetic livewell, it causes you to scratch your head, PROFOUNDLY! LOL! I still enjoy it and hopefully some day I will unlock the mysteries that many of these guys already know.
Here are the money spots from last night:
6th place went to Mickey and James with 5 fish for 9.14lbs, $76
5th place went to Lonnie and Sonny with 5 fish for 9.36lbs, $152
4th place went to Bill P. and Chad with 5 fish for 10.35lbs, $258
3rd place went to Scott and Chad with 5 fish for 11.06lbs, $304
2nd place went to Mike D. and Scott with 5 fish for 11.29lbs, $350
1st place went to Scott and Kelly with 5 fish for 14.52lbs,$380, Big Bass with a 5.88lb LMB for $380, and the side pot for $340.. Total $1100!!!
In the money circle we had two Chads and Three Scotts, LOL. A couple of weeks ago we had three Chads. I just unlocked the secret to consistency on ALLATOONA!! Change your name to Scott or Chad!!!! lol

The next event will be July 5, 2014 out of Gatewood. Yes that is on the 4th of July weekend and there will a bunch of pleasure boaters and several fireworks shows on the lake. When you schedule these events you have to take what you can get sometimes. I know the parking will be tough, and I will check with the park manager about opening up the day use area for overflow.
