For anyone born after Jan 1, 1998. Here's a link to read
http://www.georgiawildlife.org/boating/education
I would bet money that the DNR could spend weeks checking folks on Allatoona!

If you are going to do something like this why limit to those born after 1998? I've seen plenty of stupid, thoughtless, and wreckless boating behavior from those born BEFORE that date. Not enough DNR folks to check Allatoona and Lanier!

But being one of those born long before that date I'm happy I don't have to take the class. lol....

I think they will have to put boats on Allatoona to check. I have had my license checked one time since I have been fishing the lake. What good will it do to pass a law, that they won't enforce, but if they do I agree with Tom. It should be everyone. violin

I was born in 1993 so I am good but understand what they are trying to do for future generation but this won't help people who are already horrible boaters that were born before 1998. This boater course will help some in the long term.
