A few months ago I made a post asking for opinions from guys who build their own tackle. My wife and I had decided to start a small business, and were looking for input on what products to carry. Originally our idea was to try and be the next Barlows or Jann's Net Craft, but after looking into it, we had a better idea. We kept the same name, just changed up the products a bit.
Home Brewed Tackle is the name of our store, and we specialize in carrying baits that are very popular in local areas, but may be hard to get. One example would be the Spanky's Jig. We have a full line of Spanky's as well as products from other popular manufacturers. Most of the things on our site will be stuff you won't find on the larger sites, like Tackle Warehouse.
With that said, we are still just getting started, so our inventory is pretty low. Every month we try and add a few new product lines, and one that is coming up and we are very excited about is the Medlock Jig. If you haven't seen/heard of the Medlock Jig, it is a double weedguard jig that has won a lot of tournaments on the big O and is slowly working its way out of Florida.
Now for the meat of my post. To thank J.P., Bob, and the rest of the GFF crew for running our banner, we wanted to offer a 10% discount to all GFF members from now until the end of September. Just use the coupon code GFF when you check out, and it will automatically take off the 10%.
Check out the site, and let us know what you think!
