August 11th-13th i will be going to Arlington Virgina for my wife's H.S. reunion, this will be pretty special for me because i met my wife in Arlington in 1981/82 there while stationed at Henderson Hall HQ Marine Corp. While we are there i will visit the Wall & Iwo Jima Memorial to pay respects to my fallen comrads. I had been there many times, there will be some good memories and some not so good, like when the plane from Dulles airport crashed into the Potomac River killing many on board, i remember standing up near the Arlington National Cemetary by my Barracks and watching the rescue attempt, very sad day. I will also visit the Pentagon where the 911 plane crashed and pay my respects there also. Also while my wife & i are there we are going to do our best to find the name of Larron Murphy who we lost to war(Nam), he was a neighbor of Coach's, i will try to get an imprint for him to bring back or at least a picture.

My wife and i truely enjoyed our trip to her H.S. reunion In Arlington Va and to our old stomping grounds around Washington D.C. Went to my old base at Henerson hall HQMC, they have a Pentagon Memorial in place for the 183 victoms of the plane crash from 911, this memorial is just 50 yards from where my olds barracks were, kind of sank in my heart thinking about the folks who lost there lives there. They also have a memorial bench directly in front of the Pentagon for each victom. The reunion party was a hoot and i enjoyed seeing my wife having a time with all her classmates. We stayed with some friend who live in Manasses Va that we have know since 1983 and they took us on a tour of all the sites including the battle fields at Manasses. It was worth the 11 hour drive back to the Va, Dc, Maryland area, hadn't been there since '87.
