We'll be there, will YOU? the fishing is pretty darned good right now, I expect a couple of days to slow a bit with these colder nights, but it will warm back up by the weekend. Come on out and give Nick and Zack, Ryan and Chad W and few others some competition!!! Those boys are riding high right now (and rightfully so, they are producing very well!)
We will be at the top of the parking lot about 11:30-12:00 collecting entry fees. Last entry to sign up will blast everyone else off at 1:00 PM and we will fish until 6:00 PM.
As always, $20 entry ($5 to big bass and $15 to the 1-5 payback), and optional $10 side pot (winner take all, heavy creel). Fish as team or individual, team is however many you want (as many as your boat will legally carry, or just two, your choice), there is a 3 fish limit per entry. 1 dead fish allowed and Big Bass must be alive.
All tournaments are held out of Bartow County Gatewood Park: Exit GA-20 exit on I-75 and turn east, Turn south at the light (right from I-75, left from Canton) next to Wendy's onto Spur 20. Go about 2 miles and turn left on Jim Knight Rd., Turn left when it dead ends at the Bartow Beach Rd. (right in front of the COE maintenance yard). Stay on the Beach road and stay to the left past the park Manager's house and follow the signs to the left to the boat ramp
If the lot is full or the pay-box has no envelopes, just let me know and I will give you directions

We got the last Sunday afternoon of the season done. The wind put up a good fight and it felt a lot colder than it actually was. There were 32 actual entries today with a total of 59 anglers weighing 84 fish for a total of 159.83lbs (average 1.9lbs per fish). It was fun and we even had a young angler who weighed 4.24lbs for $20 for youngest angler weighing fish, congrats to Patton!
WE also paid 6 places, Big Bass and side pot. Here's how the final weigh in paid out:
6th place went to Wayne Isaac with 3 fish for 7.11lbs for $24, Wayne also had the Big Bass with a largemouth weighing 4.35lbs for $160!
5th place was Mike M. and rich with three fish for 7.33lbs and $48
4th place went to the Torelli twins also known as D-square (Dante and Dante)with 3 fish for 8.10lbs and $82
3rd place was Ken H and Mike C with 3 fish for 8.31lbs and $96
2nd place was Joe and Turkey with 3 fish for 8.51lbs and $110
1st place went to Nick and Zack with a whopping 10.40lbs with 3 fish!! That was worth $120 for first and $330 for the side pot!! Awesome job!!
That finishes the Sunday Afternoon tournaments until the first Sunday in November! The nex tournament is April 14th out of Gatewood, safelight until 3:30PM, $40 entry fee and $10 side pot.
